A big congratulations to Fiti Sa on being recently named in All Blacks Under 19 Rugby Team to tour South Africa.

Fiti came to the Vikings as a fresh 17 year old straight out of school and made his senior debut a few days after his 18th birthday.

He returned to his Vikings roots after being schooled at Shirley Boys High School (junior school), then completing his senior schooling at Christ's College. He was named in the NZ Schools wider group in 2020 as a 16 year old.

2022 has been a great year for him. Being named in the NZ side after having a break-out season with our Div 1 side. His performance against Linwood in the quarterfinal was remarkably impressive and the club look forward to him taking even bigger steps (in his size 16 boots) over the next few years as Fiti is an integral part of the Shirley Rugby Club for the future.
